These Safety shut-off Valves are safety devices specifically designed to protect gas user installations in transmission, industrial and city gate stations. Its large flow coefficient ensures a negligible pressure drop. They are installed upstream of the gas pressure regulator to protect the downstream side from impermissible pressure levels.

The SSV SL-IZ is an OPSO design with a diaphragm controller so, that in case of failure the SSV closes.
